What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an orthodontic treatment which involves wearing a series of clear aligner trays. The trays are perfectly shaped to your bite using scanning software. Our team will use a 3D intra oral scanner to create digital impressions of your smile, which will be used to design a treatment journey customised to your smile. These scans allow for precision accuracy while straightening your teeth.
The scans are sent to Invisalign, where your custom aligners are made. You will receive your first Invisalign aligners which are designed to be worn for about two to three weeks each.
Each individual aligner tray is shaped slightly different to account for the movements made by the previous tray.
Smart Track
Invisalign’s very own SmartTrack material is used to make the trays, this type of plastic is more comfortable and designed to offer multiple benefits. According to Invisalign, the benefits include:
